Homemade Bone Broth

Ingredients
  

  • organic grass-fed bones beef, lamb, turkey, chicken that have a little meat on them, enough to fill your crock pot halfway
  • 8-10 c. filtered water
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • 1 onion roughly chopped
  • 1 T. apple cider vinegar

Method
 

  1. Place all ingredients in crock pot.
  2. Cook on Low: 12-24 hours for poultry bones; 24-48 hours for beef and lamb.
  3. Once your broth is done cool slightly, and strain into quart canning jars. Refrigerate for up to a week or freeze for up to a year.
